ADPUSH Guided Tour

We'll begin our tour by illustrating how the owner of a fictional Web site, Cool T Designs, can use ADPUSH to rotate his paid advertisements at his site. Appearing in the table below is the front page of the Cool T Designs Web site. Glance at the page for a moment, particularly noticing the "lip service" advertisment at the top of the page, and then please scroll down the page to continue with the tour.

Above is the main page of the Cool T Designs Web site. You'll notice the animated "No Lip Service Here" commercial advertisement at the top of their main page.

Dave, the Web site owner, likes his advertisers and he likes the banner at the top of his site. There's only one problem... this isn't the ONLY ad that Dave displays in this location on the front page. Dave has a total of FOUR ads that he likes to display on this page in this exact same spot. Dave has to manually rotate the ads by changing the HTML code every few days and he HATES doing this tedious, repetitive task!

What he really wants to do is have his four ads rotated AUTOMATICALLY without having to change a single line of HTML code! Why not RELOAD this page now and notice how the advertisement at the top does NOT change. This is because it's a regular "fixed" ad. The only way Dave's visitors will see a different ad is if Dave HIMSELF changes the HTML code for this banner.

Dave also doesn't like the fact that he has no way of knowing how EFFECTIVE each of his four ads are. How many people have seen each ad? How many people have CLICKED on each ad? These are things Dave wants/needs to know.

Dave turns to ADPUSH (smart move) and suddenly finds managing his four ads a breeze!
